These terms explain the basic conditions that apply when you book or use services with Movexus.
1. Agreement Overview
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") apply to all services provided by Movexus LLC ("Movexus", "Company", "we", "us", "our") to any client ("Customer", "you", "your").
By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
2. Services Provided
Movexus LLC offers residential and commercial moving services, including local and long-distance moves, packing, loading and unloading, storage, and transportation of goods.
All services are subject to availability and written confirmation by Movexus LLC.
3. Booking And Payments
A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
Full payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment methods approved by Movexus, which may include credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or other methods listed on our website or invoice.
A service is only considered booked once it has been confirmed in writing by Movexus.
4. Cancellation And Rescheduling
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move may be eligible for a full refund of the deposit, unless otherwise stated in your written booking terms.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of some or all of the deposit.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing by Movexus.
5. Liability And Limitations
Movexus LLC is not liable for damage to items packed solely by the customer.
Unless additional valuation or protection coverage is purchased and confirmed in writing, liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per article as applicable under governing law and the shipment documents.
We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures, mechanical issues, government action, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring clear and lawful access to loading and unloading areas.
You must notify us in advance of any fragile, high-value, oversized, hazardous, or special-care items.
You or an authorized representative should be available during the move to confirm inventory, instructions, and required paperwork.
7. Insurance And Valuation
Movexus LLC maintains general liability and cargo insurance as required for its operations.
Basic valuation protection is not the same as full insurance coverage.
If you want broader protection for your items, you should review the valuation options offered by Movexus and may wish to arrange separate third-party coverage where appropriate.
8. Storage
Storage services, when offered, are subject to separate terms, fees, and operational requirements.
Monthly storage charges may apply.
Items left in storage for an extended period without payment or communication may be subject to additional action as permitted by the applicable storage agreement and law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, except where federal transportation law applies.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Sacramento County, California, unless a different venue is required by law or contract.
